Off Page SEO has nothing to do with the code. Off Page SEO is done after the site is complete. On Off Page SEO we only do promotion of our site. There are three main techniques for Off Page SEO. One is Backlinking and the other one is Social Media Marketing and the last one is Directory Submission.

Directory Submission

Directory Submission means that you submit you site to different sites. On those sites you submit you URL, your description and your keywords. If your website is targeting a specific country then the best practice will be find those site which accept the directory of that specific region.

Backlinking

Backlinking means adding your sites your to other sites. Backlinking means submitting your sites URL to different site. Like you saw a site on which you saw somebody asked a question and you think that your site contains the answer then leave the URL of your site over there. If the user clicks on it and visits your site and then shares it then the search engine will boost your site towards top.

There are many other sites that accept your URL for backlinking. Backlinking actually assures the search engine that the website contains the relevant data.

Social Media Marketing

Now a days Everybody is on social media. People use facebook, twitter, instagram daily. So to attract people towards your site social media is a very powerful weapon. If crawler finds your sites URL in many places then it will be a plus sign for you.

So if you want to do advertisement of your website create a page in all the social media networks and place your sites link on each of them.

Making ads of your site and sharing it on different sites is also a great way of attracting crawler to your site.

A website mostly takes 4 to 6 months to come to the top. But after that it requires a continuous maintenance to stay on top. So if you have succeeded in bringing your site to the top, don’t leave it by saying that your work is done. Keep sharing its stuff to the social media and keep doing its backlinking. Update its content daily because search engines like fresh content. Create a blog for your site. Blogging is a good way of describing and bringing audience to your site.
